THURSDAY ISLAND – SEISIA FERRY – PEDDELLS THURSDAY ISLAND TOURS 

We recommend you visit our Book Online facility to check availability on the day you wish to travel, advance ticket purchase strongly advised

On the day of travel please arrive 15 mins prior to departure. Vessels boarding not permitted prior to boarding time.

The schedule may vary and ferries may depart once full, due to local conditions and prior to the advertised departure time.

Off peak Season Ferry Schedule Indicative only: October to May – Mon/Wed/Fri

Peak Season Ferry Schedule Indicative only: June to September – Mon to Sat

Please note although the Peddell’s ferry operates year round, Peddell’s Thursday Island Bus Tour is seasonal and usually operates June to September

Please note public holidays may interrupt schedules.

The ferry schedule is subject to change without notice due to weather tides or unplanned outages, passengers recommended to have their own travel insurance.

The one way trip duration is approx 1 hr, 10 mins pending conditions.

Please take your luggage directly to the ferry at boarding time .

Various conditions may force earlier / later departures.

Strict quarantine restrictions apply when travelling south from Thursday Island to Seisia (mainland). Travellers are responsible for checking with local authorities with regards to Biosecurity.

NPA alcohol management plan applies to passengers travelling to Cape York, please check with relevant authorities.
